Teacher Artwork by Donna Shvil

Who is teaching?

Donna Shvil is one of our most popular teachers.  You likely know her from Foundations of Drawing I and Foundations of Drawing II, or perhaps you remember her as our guide during the Figure Drawing Workshops.  Donna has guided so many artists on their first steps of their artistic journey.

Teacher Artwork by André Pijet

André Pijet is one of the teacher’s that have been teaching at Syn Studio the longest.  His versatility of skills has allowed him to guide beginner artists to hone their skills in classes like Analytical Sketching and Fundamentals of Perspective.

Foundations of Drawing

This is our 101 class.  Foundations of Drawing is the best starting point for beginners and is a great option for those who need a refresher.

We have two sections for this class:
Section A in English with Donna Shvil – Sundays from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM
Section B in French with André Pijet – Saturdays from 12 PM to 3 PM

Fundamentals of Perspective

Aside from maybe anatomy, perspective can be one of the most challenging subjects for artists to study.  Having a good teacher makes this so much easier and you will start making more believable drawings of people, objects and structures in no time!

Bilingual with André Pijet – Wednesdays from 5 PM to 8 PM
