"I came to Syn Studio as a young professional. After losing my first job I was still on shaky grounds, having barely one foot in the industry. So I went to Syn Studio with the goals of meeting people, making contacts, pushing my work and getting feedback on it. Syn Studio did not disappoint. I met amazing professionals of the industry (which I never had in four years of University!) and motivated students. I made lots of good friends and met a teacher that eventually got me an Interview at WB games Montréal to work on my first AAA. Pretty much a dream scenario. Don’t get me wrong, the school won’t do the work for you but If you are the kind of person willing to put in the hours in and listen to your mentors, you will see results. I guarantee that!"Concept Artist, WB Games
"I didn't have a background in fine arts when I joined the school and I somehow managed to understand a great deal in very little time. The teachers are not just passionate about helping their students, they are also active in their industry and would even go as far as to teach their in-house pipeline. Suffice to say that I was blown away by them. In addition, nothing beats being in a classroom with like minded people. I would not be where I am today without Syn Studio."Illustrator, Ubisoft
"I saw the [Syn Studio] website from Spain and I was impressed by the quality of the teachers' work. [...] Syn Studio is what really kick started my career. I owe them everything. The experience changed my life. [...] For me, the best moments were when some of the teachers, would give us personal advice, or would tell us about a technique we had never heard of. Those moments made me feel like a student at Hogwarts discovering some new spell. I felt that way very often at Syn Studio."Art Director, Life Zero
"I was attending the Academy of Realist Art in Toronto, which is a great school, but doesn't offer any classes to learn how to make professional concept art. I chose to study at Syn Studio because it had a unique offering of working professionals teaching the classes and lots of open studio time to practice."Concept Artist and Syn Studio Concept Art Diploma Student, Fall 2018
"I want to express my gratitude and appreciation to Syn Studio for providing a place for artists/professionals to grow in their craft. I’ve taken classes over the years and enjoyed them a lot, particularly because of the variety they have to offer. A big takeaway for me was the motivation of being around talented artists and teachers who share a passion for what they do. This combined with a professional level education has pushed me farther as an artist and taught me what I needed to know to prepare for the industry. I would definitely recommend Syn Studio to anyone seeking to make it as a professional artist or to anyone interested in art."Concept Artist, Eidos
"Dear Syn Studio, I want to thank you very much for your interest in me as a student. The time I spent at Syn Studio has really changed my life, and I am very grateful for everything I learned during my time in Canada. Nowadays, I am working as a conceptual designer for exhibitions of National Geographic, Disney and Hasbro’s Transformers for Latin America. In my free time, I am a digital sculpture and visual effects professor. I really appreciate the opportunity to be able to enter the international industry in digital sculpture; that’s what I love most and have chosen to pursue as my profession. [...] For me, it was amazing to learn from teachers with so much experience. Thanks to that, I learned the tools that allowed me to reach the next level in my career. Christopher Cao, a former professor of Syn Studio, was a great teacher and I am very grateful for him."3d Animator/Digital Sculptor
"I decided to study at Syn Studio because it looked like the only place in Montreal that offered these kind of classes without needing to be part of a school program. [...] The teacher Frederic Bennett was really down to earth, nice and approachable. The students were really kind too and we had a good mix of levels in the class."Concept Artist, Triotech Amusement
"I have a lot of amazing memories from Syn Studio, and it's a little bit hard to choose which one is the best because I was there almost all the time. I can remember not only facts, but also feelings, like the first time you meet an amazing artist like Charles Vinh, Lincoln Hughes, Christian de Massy or Salgood Sam! The feeling to be in Montreal surrounded of those amazing artists, students, and the Syn Studio family! The teachers and the environment, full of concept art, illustration and the emotion to be in one of the most important cities of this industry; the amazing personal feedback on my work, the opportunity to go to different companies, like Ludia games, the MIGS!! man... fantastic!!! I can feel some of those experiences again just writing this. I can only say that my experience in Syn Studio was Amazing, and if I could repeat it, I would do it infinite times!!"Freelance Concept Artist
