Drawing Reptiles with Marc Lalumière
In this workshop, experienced animal illustrator Marc Lalumière will show you how to draw reptiles from live specimens! This is a fantastic opportunity to get up close and personal with creatures you would otherwise never see in Montreal’s natural biome!
Through his guidance, demonstrations and feedback, Marc will show you how to draw lizards and snakes in a life-like way, including how to use lines, tones and texture to render their scales realistically. You will also combine anatomical study with insights into animal behaviour, evolution and environmental adaptation.
By the end of this class, you will be able to quickly and accurately sketch a wide variety of reptilian species either from life or referenced images!

-a sketchbook (9 x 12 inches or bigger)
-pencils (HB, 2B and 4B)
