Cestar Collège – Syn Studio is always overjoyed to see our alumni succeed. We are proud to announce that one of our students, Natasha N.M, better known as HYPNOTIK MIND, has just had her very own art exhibition launch at the Parcours Gouin Reception Pavilion. The exhibition, named Hypnosis, just opened on October 5th and will run until December 10th and features seven of Natasha’s vibrant works.
Natasha lives in Ahuntsic (a neighbourhood on the northside of the island of Montreal) where she works 4 days a week at the Ahuntsic Library while also working on her artwork. She always liked drawing but it was only when in university that she took a painting class and fell in love.
“I took a painting course at the university and drawing courses at Cestar College – Syn Studio.”
Since then she has explored various other mediums and creative endeavours including digital art, jewelry making and painting on clothing. Her artwork was featured in the Afro-Quécécois Art Festival at the Musée de la civilisation in Quebec City earlier this year. Hypnosis marks her first solo exhibition.
“The exhibition includes abstract and symbolic paintings that focus on consciousness, reflection, self-seeking and exploring the inner child in a playful and colourful context.”
It brings us immense pride to see the success and achievements of our alumni, knowing that our teachers were able to give you the keys to thrive in the professional world. What makes Cestar Collège – Syn Studio different from other art schools is our focus on students gaining skill. We offer Onsite and Online art classes, across different levels – from beginner to expert, to help you become a better artist. All of our teachers work in some form in the entertainment industry and have hands-on experience that they are eager to share with you. If you are a curious, passionate or ambitious artist, willing to put in the effort, then sign up for classes at Cestar Collège – Syn Studio and join our growing list of successful alumni!
