Loish - Freelance Illustrator and Concept Artist
Earlier this summer, students from our Concept Art Diploma Program had the pleasure of being a part of an online Digital Painting Process Demonstration with Dutch Illustrator and Concept Artist, Lois Van Baarle aka Loish.
Best known for her recognizable, colorful, and expressive characters, Loish’s client list includes Lego Group, Blizzard Entertainment, Guerilla Games, and Channel 4, among others. Her work has been published in magazines such as ImagineFX issues #2, #65 and #82, Advanced Photoshop issue #9, and 2DArtist Magazine issue #47, among others. In addition to this, she has also published two books: The Sketchbook of Loish and The Art of Loish.
Loish has an active social media presence, with over a million followers on Instagram and Facebook.
