Syn Studio Art School is currently having an opening for a ๐๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐๐๐ญ ๐ฐ๐๐ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ซ position. We are looking for creative types with an entrepreneurial spirit who will help us with our web development and marketing tasks.
๐๐ฏ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ: 20 to 25 hours a week

- Perform full stack development and maintain the Syn Studio and Cestar Quebec websites. This includes:
- Responsive web design and development changes on the website and update information.
- In-house WordPress theme and plugin development
- Maintain source code for staging and production versions of the websites
- Tracking website analytics and ensure our SEO is on point.
๐๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฌ
- Minimum 3 years experience with PHP, JQuery/Javascript, HTML, CSS/SASS
- Minimum 2 years of proven WordPress and WooCommerce experience which includes WordPress theming, functions and WooCommerce transaction enabling and testing (Please provide examples of your work)
- Basic understanding of mail headers how emails are handled by servers (SMTP/IMAP email as well as Mailchimp API)
- Understanding of cloud computing (Amazon S3 buckets) and HTTP. Adequate knowledge of WP Engine.
- Adequate SEO, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics knowledge which includes understanding of how different site elements send signals to search engines, creating custom definitions and managing conversion events on Google Analytics 4 as well as understanding of the GTM Data Layer
- Working knowledge of the LEMP stack (Linux, Nginx, MySQL, PHP)
- Being bilingual (in English and French) is a plus!
